Bus report

7/4R coach 4032

Part of the training for the new full time driver is a night run. 7/4R is the last #7 to the U district, and returns downtown the last time just before the night owl coaches leave.

Slow start at first. It's been 6 months since i drove an articulated trolley, but once i figured out how to drive like hell (which is defined as 38 miles per hour -- oofah!) things were ok. Instructing operator had interesting tips on sleepers and drug dealers.

Lost poles 64/Prentice and at Eastlake/Harvard n/b. With the 60-foot bus you have a longer wait for the poles to get around the corner, natch.
